How it all started...
One beautiful day in September 2000 a black and white dam of American cocker that was owned by my brother, came charging in our garden. Her name was Alaska LÁMŮV DAR – Aljaška, and she was then just 10 months old. She stayed at our place for good. Aljaška was extremely lively scamp, but on the other hand she had very good, nice and devoted temper and we all became fond of her very quickly. She was my first American cocker and my first dog with a pedigree ever and she launched my great love to this breed. I was gradually getting to the question of breeding the “Americans” and although I didn´t take part in any dog show actively, I started to attend these dog exhibitions and I was preparing to present my “American” on a dog show one day. Sadly, the fate decided otherwise and Aljaška died at the age of 4,5 with a misadventure. She really loved playing with ball and its retrieving and that was fatal for her, when the ball interdigitated in her throat and she suffocated. Aljaška will be in my heart forever and I will never forget her...
I immediately wanted to have another dog at home and that was my second dam Happy- Go- Lucky Gold Altair – Ája, that I brought as a ten week old puppy in June 2004 from breeder Lenka Budišová. Ája is a black dam, with perfect calm temper that, but she loves balls, which she can chase and retrieve time and time again. Right from the early beginning, when I brought Ája at our place, I knew that she will be lead that I could start to show her. And so we both started to learn the basics of showing, care about the dog hair and everything that is connected with it. And like every beginning, it wasn´t easy..., that will confirm me every breeder. But we were enjoying it, maybe I was enjoying it more than Ája! Gradually I knew, that one dam is not enough and because I was very interested with individuals with chocolate- brown colouration, I started to search, where a beautiful chocolate dam that would fill the bill could be born. And that´s why I brought chocolate-brown dam, this time import from Slovakia, DAISY LADY Fly Mystery – Dais, from breeder Viera Vítková. Dais is in contrast to Ájka very lively devilkin again, but with immensely big heart and great temper and unbelievable mummy´s darling. And even I thought I knew a lot about American cockers´ breeding, I found out, that there is a lot of things I don´t know, I cannot do. Breeding of chocolate- brown individuals is one of the most complicated and that´s why I´m still learning new things and collect new experiences. Dais in contrast to Ájka hams up and she absolutely enjoys the dog shows so we have achieved nice results at shows. Dais became during the year 2009 Czech, Slovak Champion and also the title Czech Grandchampion. I am very happy that Daisy is mine.
In September 2007 new addition in my kennel arrived from Finland. It is beautiful girl as I always wished to have. Her name is GOLOWOREZ WILL POWER – called Stella, she is black and tan and very lively. I wish her a good health, to grow up nicely and to be satisfied in my home, happy and also successful in future show rings.
In the middle of the year 2008 Aja gave birth to her first litter and I decided to keep the black girl at home. She is Antoinetta Queen LB – Tony. She just have started her show carrer at the age 10 months.
The number of dogs in my breeding station is definitely not decisive, because my love to American cockers is still growing and what´s more dog showing is becoming great hobby for me.
